Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry and his wife Ayesha Curry are making the most of the NBA offseason with a beach vacation in Cancun. Just weeks after Curry suffered a hamstring injury and was then eliminated from the NBA playoffs, the couple shared glimpses of their getaway on social media.
In Instagram photos posted by Ayesha on Saturday, May 31, Curry is seen shirtless, flexing next to his wife, showing scratches on his arms and chest. Fans quickly speculated about the marks, with some saying it’s just part of the physical toll of the NBA season. Others jokingly suggested they were from playful moments with Ayesha.
This vacation comes after a long busy period for the Currys. Last year, Stephen helped lead Team USA to a gold medal at the Paris Olympics, and the couple welcomed their fourth child, Caius, in May 2024. They also recently appeared at the BottleRock Napa Valley music festival, where they enjoyed performances, promoted a bourbon brand, and hung out with 49ers players George Kittle and Kyle Juszczyk among others.
As they unwind in Cancun, the Currys are taking time to rest and recharge before the next NBA season. The vacation photos offer a relaxed look at their offseason away from the spotlight of the league.
